Privacy Policy
GolfProse (“we”, “us”) runs golfprose.com, a free reading site. We collect as little about you as we can, and this page explains exactly what that is.
What we collect
- Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to the Sunday Golf Story, we store your email address, the date you signed up, and which signup form you used. That’s all.
- Technical logs. Like every website, our hosting provider (Google Firebase) records standard request information — such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site. These logs are kept for a limited time.
You don’t need an account to read GolfProse. We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers, and we don’t set cookies for readers.
How we use it
We use your email address only to send the newsletter and, rarely, an important note about it. We never sell, rent or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it
- Google Firebase hosts the site and stores newsletter signups.
- An email delivery service sends the newsletter on our behalf and processes your address only for that purpose. We’ll name the provider here once it’s in place.
Links to other sites
Product and book links take you to retailers such as Amazon. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies when you visit them. See our affiliate disclosure.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your choices and rights
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing support@golfprose.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law, and we’ll honor them.
Children
GolfProse is a general-audience site. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
